Experience in Leadership and Service

Over the past two decades, my work has centered on helping churches, nonprofit organizations, and mission-driven leaders strengthen the ways they serve their communities.

My background in social work and nonprofit leadership has taken me into a wide range of ministry contexts — from faith-based nonprofits and community organizations to leadership development and training for organizations across the country.

I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving the Master Scholar Award.

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with churches, nonprofit boards, executive leaders, and volunteers to help organizations grow in healthy and sustainable ways.

National Nonprofit Leadership

I previously served as Regional Director for Family Promise, a national nonprofit organization addressing family homelessness.

In this role, I supported and provided operational guidance to over 200 nonprofit affiliates across the United States, working closely with executive directors, boards of directors, and community partners to strengthen programs serving families in need.

I have also served as:

• Executive Director of United Ministries
• Executive Director of Family Promise of Coastal Alabama

Both roles involved coordinating churches, volunteers, and community organizations to support families experiencing housing instability.

Leadership Development and Teaching

My work has also included:

• Graduate-level teaching at the University of Alabama
• Grant writing for the Mobile County Health Department
• Leadership training for nonprofit boards and organizations
• Strategic planning and governance development

Today, through Front Row Courses & Coaching, I develop training and resources that support nonprofit leaders, churches, and mission-driven organizations.

Church Leadership

In addition to community leadership roles in Mobile and Pensacola, I have also served in several leadership roles within the Alabama–West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, including:

• Administrative Council member
• Lay Delegate to the Annual Conference
• Certified Lay Speaker
• Secretary for the Board of Directors of Pastoral Care, Counseling, and Training

These experiences have allowed me to walk closely with churches as they navigate both opportunities and challenges in ministry.

A Faith-Centered Approach to Leadership

Today my work focuses on helping mission-driven organizations thoughtfully navigate emerging challenges while remaining grounded in their core values.

This includes developing the ETHICS AI Framework, a practical model that helps leaders evaluate emerging technologies through the lens of stewardship, transparency, discernment, and responsible governance.

My goal is always the same: to help leaders serve their communities with wisdom, integrity, and a deep respect for the people entrusted to their care.
