Teressa's Heart for Ministry

Hi — I’m Teressa.

Thank you for being here.

My journey in ministry didn’t begin with titles or degrees. It began with a simple desire planted in my heart many years ago: to walk alongside people, encourage faith, and help others find hope when life feels heavy.

Over the years, God has woven together my love for people, my background in social work, and my passion for faith into a life of service. Whether I’m writing devotionals, mentoring leaders, supporting families, or speaking to groups, my prayer is always the same — that others feel seen, supported, and reminded that they are deeply loved by God.

A Little About My Background

I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work, which has shaped how I approach ministry with compassion, practical wisdom, and deep respect for every person’s story. My professional life has included leadership roles in faith-based nonprofits, community organizations, and coaching, where I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside churches, volunteers, and ministry teams across many communities.

Most recently, I founded Front Row Courses & Coaching, where I support Christian leaders and nonprofits by providing encouragement, training, and resources that strengthen both faith and service.

Before that, I spent many years walking with families experiencing homelessness, guiding nonprofit teams, and helping organizations grow in healthy, sustainable ways. These experiences have taught me that ministry happens just as much in living rooms, shelters, and coffee shops as it does behind pulpits.

Organizing women’s Bible studies and small groups

Teaching Disciple studies

Speaking at retreats, churches, and community gatherings

Serving on church committees and ministry boards

Volunteering internationally in Brazil and Russia

Supporting pastors, nonprofit leaders, and everyday believers who simply want to live out their faith well

Through it all, I’ve learned that real ministry is about relationships — listening well, showing up consistently, and trusting God to do what only He can do.

What Matters Most to Me

I care deeply about helping people grow in their faith without pressure or the expectation of perfection. I believe in honest conversations, gentle encouragement, and creating space for spiritual growth at every stage of life.
